Power cords for North America
The power cords for the U.S. (UL) and Canadian (c-UL) markets are classified as follows.
- Power Supply Cords (power cord with a plug)
- Cord Sets (power cord with a plug and connector)
- Wiring Harness (power cord with a terminal, tube, or other processed part)
Proof of certification of each of these products is indicated on the bulk label affixed to an individual cardboard container. As for the wiring harness, proof of UL certification for the components and materials used is indicated on the accompanying UL harness diagram.
