All power cords to be used in Japan must undergo a compliance inspection in accordance with the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act. The power cords presented in this catalog are flat, oval, or round cords, each molded together with a plug or connector. All these cords have undergone a compliance inspection based on the type classification shown below as required by the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act. Before using any of these power cords, check for the or <PS>E mark, which is to be indicated on specified electrical appliances and materials.
