TUFRET Jacket Cable
TUFRET Jacket Cable
- Cables for FA applications are required to have strict properties such as abrasion resistance, oil resistance, and cold resistance that general PVC materials cannot satisfy, depending on the operating environment conditions. TUFRET is a cable jacket material for heavy-duty applications, developed by Hirakawa Hewtech and boasting a long track record .
Application
Jacket material for FA cables
For cables that require strict properties such as abrasion resistance, oil resistance, and cold resistance that general PVC materials cannot satisfy.
Features
Elastomer with features of both rubber and PVC
- TUFRET is an elastomer that combines the features of both rubber and PVC.
- Due to its excellent oil resistance, even if it is used for machine tool cables, it will not lose its original rubber elasticity much less than ordinary PVC.
- Cold resistance is as strong as -60°C, and our camera cables demonstrate sufficient flexibility for broadcast recording in the freezing cold of Antarctica. We also have a track record.
- Abrasion resistance has been used in camera cables and TRIAXCABLE for relay applications that are routed around.
- We also have a lineup of flame-retardant FR-TUFRET.
