The Hirakawa 2mmHM cable application system is a system that enables direct cable interface between backplane connectors of 2mmpt. hard metric connectors that comply with IEC917 and IEC1076-4-101 .

- By using a plug shroud with a polarity slot and a snap latch, it is possible to prevent reverse insertion and dropout, and obtain a stable connection.

For cable application connectors, [non-shielded type] with excellent cost performance, [shielded type] with excellent transmission characteristics such as impedance and crosstalk, and 7P (5 + 2) connections are possible for ground reinforcement. [Shield type with side contact] is also available.
