Quality Activities

In order to offer better safety and higher quality to customers, the HIRAKAWA HEWTECH Group takes quality control very seriously.

To meet customer requests for diverse products of a highly specific and specialized nature in a short time while ensuring consistent quality, we use production methods that take into account quality control, such as digitally warranting product reliability from the development and design stages.

In addition to introducing an operator certification system and a certification examiner system, we constantly work to improve quality through JI (Job Innovation) activities.

The HIRAKAWA HEWTECH Group holds the environmental principle that "preserving the global environment is the most important common task of mankind." We are deeply aware of our responsibility and make the implementation of this principle one of our corporate management imperatives.

All our establishments have acquired certification for ISO 14001, an international standard on an environmental management system. In all our processes, ranging from the procurement of materials to design, distribution, consumption, and disposal, we set and observe voluntary standards and implement various management systems and audits while complying with the existing laws and regulations.

Each of our bases has an environmental control committee in place to deal with energy saving, reduction in CO2 emissions, promotion of recycling, and other environment-related issues on an organization level. Environmental activities are implemented as part of daily operations.

As a manufacturer dealing with materials, we are committed to eliminating substances of concern from the materials that we use. We are working actively not only to meet UL, CSA and other standards but also to "develop products that are equivalent to the conventional ones in terms of processability and quality."

Environmentally Friendly Products

Lead-free vinyl chloride electric wires

Our lead-free electric wires do not contain lead compounds, which are harmful to the environment.

As our approach to environmental conservation from the angle of products, we develop and deploy products with the same processability and quality as conventional ones while eliminating substances of concern from our materials and meeting various environmental standards such as UL and CSA.

HIRAKAWA HEWTECH is ready to meet the demands for environmental conservation that are becoming increasingly strong around the world.
